Great hotel. Rooms are not too big, but neat and clean. Good breakfast (no buffet due to corona at the moment), in good weather outside on the terrace at the rear. Hotel is conveniently located if you want to cycle or walk. The large garden has some seats and beds. There are still some traces of the campsite it once was. The watermill can also be seen. No longer in operation. The restaurant is well attended in the evening. If you want to eat there you really have to make a reservation. Had a great week here. Although we missed the air conditioning! The rooms are located on the top floor under the sloping roof. In warm weather it is actually impossible without air conditioning.

Feeding company for supposed haute cuisine We are low-frequency guests at the Niedmühle, but have been for over 25 years. The cuisine, which is definitely worthy of recognition, is diametrically opposed to the dismissive service, which does not want the visit to be an experience. Maybe the hard core of the regular guests is at least privileged in this regard. Returning from a relaxed holiday in Switzerland and Austria, where guests are still being courted, one notices that it is the behavior of the service that actually turns the restaurant with its friendly atmosphere into a feeding establishment for supposed haute cuisine. While the restaurant still exudes a certain charm indoors, the outdoor dining area falls far short of its potential. The gaze wanders into an alluvial forest on the Nied, in which some dilapidated sheds disturb the harmony, if you're lucky, on the other hand, if you're unlucky, you stare at a little decorated, red-washed house wall while you are eating. Complaints are rejected by default with the fact that the restaurant is fully booked for weeks. If that is the only obstacle to better quality service, then that should be changed as soon as possible.

Was having lunch in the Niedmühle with my friends today. Everything was very good, especially the sea bream. The ambience, the location of the restaurant, everything looks nice.

Food was ok long waiting times (after 1.5 hours first course). One of two waitresses a bit unfriendly (ordered a beer, waited 20 minutes, waitress politely reminded of the beer, counter question from waitress "did you already choose a wine". Wanted to eat the GOURMET MENU. Unfortunately the GOURMET MENU did not work, as the summer menu always has to be ordered by two people. Please ????? There were four of us and three chose the summer menu the main course included in the menu and the swapped menu for the same price) Very good wine list.

Food and accommodation were great. Service nice but a bit reorganized.

My wife and I have been guests in the restaurant numerous times and have stayed in the associated hotel. The entire Niedmühle team is extremely friendly and courteous and is always ready to joke. The kitchen is always a culinary experience. Everyone will be happy with this excellent meal. We look forward to the next stay and the culinary pleasure.

Valentine's Day menu. Very well done menu, not only for the palate but also for the eye. Tasty components are worthy of a star. Casual atmosphere. A wonderful evening. Lovely again.

After about 4 years have been there again - great! First-class food, very good wines from a manageable range, a relaxed service, the easy on it was - all in all a successful evening with acceptable prices. We should not wait so long with the next visit. Definitely book.

Random find for overnight on a bike ride. Fine cuisine, fresh and in a nutshell. The food is worth every euro and the service friendly and attentive.
